Julieta and Federico are parents to three boys and live a comfortable upper-class life. Tito expresses a simple wish to go to the sea, and Federico suggests he stay at a coastal house he once built for friends. While Tito and Julieta travel there with the children, Federico remains in the city, absorbed in work. This physical separation becomes the emotional core of the film.
